Holodomor National Awareness Tour

The Holodomor National Awareness Tour, through its creation of the Holodomor Mobile Classroom (HMC), tours the country to raise awareness of the Holodomor and to promote core Canadian values. Bringing awareness of the Holodomor to tens of thousands of Canadians and demonstrating that lessons of this genocide are relevant in the world today.

The Holodomor was a famine-genocide that killed millions of people in Ukraine between 1932 & 1933.

An integral part of the Holodomor National Awareness Tour is the internationally awarded Holodomor Mobile Classroom: a state-of-the-art, interactive multimedia environment, designed to engage & educate students and the public across Canada about the Holodomor.

We are honoured to be able to bring the Holodomor Mobile Classroom to the Comox Valley. It will be at Lewis Park near the 5th Street bridge.

Open to all.

Admission is free – donations to support this initiative gratefully accepted.
